Building strong foundations

Empowering minds, shaping futures: Our school's commitment to student success.

Mantou Sakahigan Kiskinamakewikamik offers nursery (age 4) to Grade 12. The mission of the school is to help students meet their educational needs by giving them the opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to retain their cultural identity while enabling them to deal with the social, cultural and economic challenges of life.

Experiential learning - real-life and cultural experiences

One distinctive feature of this school is its emphasis on experiential learning. Rather than confining education to the four walls of a classroom, students here engage in real-world projects and hands-on real-life and cultural experiences with the guidance of elders and others in the community who are willing to pass on their knowledge and experience.

Igniting curiosity, fostering growth.
